Who to contact
The person operating the independent activity under the Secplify name is responsible for the personal data used to manage this website and respond to enquiries. For privacy questions or to exercise your rights, email [email protected].
When you browse
Choosing light or dark mode saves only your appearance preference in your browser. It is not sent to Secplify. See the cookie policy for details and how to remove it.
This website presents our services and team. It has no customer account, checkout, advertising pixels or analytics integration in the application. Fonts and images are served with the site. Our hosting and network providers necessarily process connection information, which can include your IP address, requested URL, browser information, request time and technical error records, to deliver and protect the website.
We rely on our legitimate interest in delivering and protecting this website to process the connection data necessary for those purposes. Cloudflare Pages provides the hosting and network services.
When available, our host uses the country associated with your connection to choose the initial language. Otherwise, we use your browser language. Selecting PT or EN saves a language cookie, which is sent with requests to this site to honour your choice. The application does not request precise location or store a location history.
When you contact us
The enquiry composer uses the name, reply email, selected service and message you enter to prepare a draft in your own email application. Typing into it does not submit information to Secplify, and the application does not save the fields in cookies or browser storage. You must send the email yourself. Your email provider’s terms apply when you use that service.
If you email or call us, we receive the contact details and information you choose to share. We use them to respond, understand your requirements and discuss possible work. Please do not send passwords, access credentials or unnecessary sensitive information.
Where you are considering a contract with us, we process the relevant enquiry to take steps at your request before entering into that contract. For other business correspondence, including contact from an organisation’s representative, we rely on our legitimate interest in responding to relevant enquiries. Enquiring does not subscribe you to marketing.
Who can receive information
The owner currently handles the enquiry mailbox. Emails to our contact address pass through Cloudflare Email Routing and are delivered to Gmail, provided by Google. These providers process information involved in delivering their services. Information may also be disclosed where required by law.
International processing
Cloudflare and Google operate international infrastructure, so information may be processed outside Portugal or the European Economic Area. Their privacy information explains their processing locations and the transfer mechanisms they describe for their services:
For questions about the handling of information in your enquiry, contact [email protected].
How long information is kept
Retention depends on why the information is needed: handling an active enquiry, carrying out agreed work, meeting record-keeping obligations or dealing with a specific complaint or dispute. An enquiry does not justify keeping all correspondence indefinitely. Documents that must be retained by law are subject to the applicable statutory periods. Technical records held by service providers are also subject to their service settings and retention practices. You can contact us to ask about the information associated with your enquiry or request its erasure, subject to legal exceptions.
Your choices and rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability of your personal data, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. If a processing activity relies on consent, you can withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing. Some rights are subject to legal exceptions.
Send requests to [email protected]. We may need proportionate information to verify identity. GDPR requests normally require a response within one month; permitted extensions must be explained. You may complain to Portugal’s Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD) or your competent supervisory authority.
Other websites and changes
Links to GitHub, Instagram and team members’ professional profiles take you to separate services with their own privacy practices. They are links, not embedded social widgets. This notice must be updated if the website’s data handling changes. For the general legal framework, see the General Data Protection Regulation.
